In-person tutoring
Usually, my tutoring happens online. However, if you live in the Oxford (UK) area, I’m more than happy to discuss in-person tutoring if that is your preference. While I’m proud of the quality of my online sessions and know how to get the best out of the technology, there can also be advantages to working in-person, including easy sharing of materials and a face-to-face human connection. I can also offer a mixture of online and in-person tutoring if preferred.
Depending on the distance I need to travel to get to you, I may need to add a modest additional amount to my fee to account for travel time and costs. You’ll know about this before booking if this is the case. I am also able to consider having older students visit me for sessions.
Tutoring in pairs and small groups
1:1 tutoring is often the best choice to make the most of the individual and undivided attention that I can offer. However, where two or more students have similar levels, needs, and aims, I will gladly consider tutoring together. Generally, I will be able to offer a sizable per-student discount on my normal rates. As a former school Latin teacher, I have plenty of experience teaching to small and larger groups. I do not match tutees with each other, but if you know or have found others interested in being tutored together with you or your child, please do feel free to get in touch with the details, and we can discuss how I can best help you.
